"Harvard Medical School - Centre d'Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy joint program in Immunology: education and research" between Harvard University and the University of Aix-Marseille has been selected for the Partner University Fund 2012 call for projects. The program is therefore one of 11 laureates that have been chosen for the 2012 program.
The Imaging Immunity – ImagImm - facility offers resources in light and fluorescence microscopy to decipher the operating mechanisms of the immune system, from molecules to whole organisms.
The histology service was installed at the CIML in November 2005. It is managed by Lionel Chasson, under the scientific direction of Claudine Schiff. This service was created to provide advice to the various research teams at the CIML and to make available a set of techniques and skills to perform and analyze the histology and immunohistochemistry projects of each team.
This service performs:
Founded in 1976 at the time the CIML was created, the Cytometry service functions with three engineers, Marc Barad (service manager), Sylvain Bigot and Atika Zouine. Sandrine Sarrazin provides the scientific responsibility. The service is assisted by a steering committee made up of advanced users, which meets monthly. The service is reserved to CIML's users.
