In immunology, more than in any other discipline, physiology is often revealed by pathology. This is the reason why CMIL researchers have worked actively for many years with various French and international clinical departments in order to improve the understanding of human diseases, to develop our knowledge of immune system operation and to contribute to new diagnostic and therapeutic solutions.
Thanks to such partnerships, the CIML can not only validate part of its scientific hypotheses in real-time conditions, but can also develop experimental models, which can provide answers to issues concerning autoimmunity, infectious diseases, inflammation, cancers and metabolic diseases.
