To grasp the biology of a system as complex as our immune system and to explore the mechanisms underlying highly combinatorial pathologies like cancers, infections, metabolic, auto-immune and inflammatory diseases, the CIML immunologists share their experience and know-how with the foremost scientists and clinicians.
The CIML has over 90 undergoing signed agreements with French and international academic partners. These agreements empower CIML scientists to share their efforts with other referents in their discipline, to conduct transdisciplinary projects, to make clinical assessments of their scientific hypotheses, and have access to breakthrough technologies and engineering.
Beyond these programmes, the CIML wants also to provide all its students with the level of education and intellectual openness that guarantees them a scientific career in France or internationally. In this context, the CIML has established a student exchange program with the Harvard Medical School (HMS).
