Sethuraman SUBRAMANIAN has received the AMU 2022 Thesis Prize.
Every year, in order to reward the excellence of research work carried out during the thesis, Aix-Marseille University (AMU) awards a prize for the most exemplary theses defended by doctoral students registered in the territory. This year, AMU honored 16 students from its 12 doctoral schools.
Sethuraman SUBRAMANIAN, who did his thesis at CIML in the team of Michael Sieweke, received recongnition for the excellence of his research work entitled "Self-renewal of murine alveolar macrophages: pulmonary fibrosis and cellular identity."
At the awards ceremony held on April 11, 2023 at the University headquarters at Pharo, Sethuraman accompanied by his thesis supervisor Michael Sieweke, presented his background, current scientific projects and career prospects. He was awarded the prestigious 2022 thesis prize from the university by the vice-president for research at AMU, Philippe DELAPORTE, and the director of the Doctoral College, Mossadek TALBY.
