Dr Réjane Rua selected as a "rising star"
As part of the "Rising Stars Program" in 2023, established by the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS), Dr. Réjane Rua, a team leader at CIML, has been selected by the scientific committee along with 14 other renowned scientists to highlight their research projects at the IUIS international congress taking place from November 27 to December 2, 2023, in Cape Town, South Africa.
IUIS is an organization that brings together numerous regional and national immunology societies worldwide. The objectives of IUIS are as follows:
1. To facilitate international cooperation in immunology and promote communication among various branches of immunology and related fields.
2. To encourage cooperation among societies representing immunology interests within each scientifically independent territory.
3. To contribute to the advancement of immunology in all its aspects.
The "Rising Stars" initiative has been established to showcase exceptional young professionals within the first five years of establishing their independent laboratories, who have made significant contributions to the field and their community.
