"Immunotherapy Day"
The goal is :
Inform the community of scientists, clinicians and PhD students about advances in immunotherapy. Indeed, immunotherapy in its various forms constitutes a significant progress in the treatment of specific cancers. In the wake of the recent Nobel Prizes, we hope that students at the end of their master's degree and thesis in Immunology, but also interested researchers and doctors in the Region, will be informed of the fundamental research underlying these advances, the corresponding pre-clinical and clinical research, and the prospects for future development.
In this way, we hope to contribute both to stimulating students' curiosity and possibly to stimulating vocations at a decisive stage in their careers, and, for more advanced researchers and doctors, to updating their knowledge in a rapidly expanding field.
The Marseille-Luminy Immunology Centre, its researchers and guest researchers are particularly competent to do so. One of the molecules concerned was discovered by a CIML team in the late 1980s.
