In collaboration with the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research (BIIR) in Dallas and the Benaroya Research Institute in Seattle, the laboratory is investigating the transcriptomic profiles of Brucella patients collected from Spain and Macedonia. The goal is to get for the first time a molecular signature of human brucellosis.
This work is financed by NIH (USA). Also, in collaboration from the Necker-Enfants Malades hospital in Paris and the BIIR, the team is looking at the sensitivity of Juvenile arthritis (SOJA) patient immune cells to infection. This work is financed by the Arthritis foundation (Paris).
