Marc Bajenoff, team leader at the CIML, focusing on the immunobiology of stromal cells, is among the 22 distinguished researchers awarded Excellence Chairs in Biology/Health France 2030 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
Through this initiative and "Plan Innovation Santé 2030", the government aims to further highlight French health research, both in terms of its excellence and its attractive deployment conditions throughout the country. Marc Bajenoff's NICHE project aims to study the complex relationships between immune cells and their microenvironments, offering insights into tissue balance and potential treatments for diseases involving macrophage dysfunction.
