A research lead by Eric Vivier and Sophie Ugolini of the Centre d'Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (Inserm/CNRS/Aix Marseille Université) has revealed a new gene that, when mutated, stimulates the immune systems to fight better against tumours and viral infections.
